For 14 years, Noel has represented the Commonwealth and its citizens in a variety of cases throughout central Virginia and the tidewater area.
Before opening up his own practice, Noel worked in the law firm of Hairfield Morton, PLC in Bon Air. While there, Noel represented clients injured in automobile accidents, clients harmed because of medical malpractice, clients charged with criminal and traffic offenses, clients going through divorces and custody and visitation disputes, clients involved in civil disputes, and clients buying or selling residential real estate.
Prior to joining Hairfield Morton eight years ago, Noel worked in the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office for the County of Chesterfield where he gained invaluable insight into the criminal justice system and the prosecution specifically. While in Chesterfield, Noel prosecuted hundreds of cases, tried cases before both juries and judges, and developed relationships with other litigants, his peers, police officers, and the jurists.
Before becoming a prosecutor, Noel worked for the Virginia Attorney General’s Office in Norfolk, Virginia. During his tenure, Noel worked as Special Counsel of the Division of Child Support Enforcement. In that capacity, Noel spent a large part of his time in Juvenile Court, establishing, modifying, and enforcing child support orders. In addition, Noel worked in the litigation section of the Attorney General’s Office wherein he defended numerous state agencies against workers’ compensation claims. It was an excellent opportunity, particularly for a young lawyer, because it required Noel to handle court cases within several weeks of accepting the position. By the time Noel left the Attorney General’s Office, he had handled over 2000 cases in court.
Collectively, Noel’s professional experiences have enabled him to passionately step into the shoes of his clients and advocate on their behalf. If you need legal assistance of any kind, do not hesitate to contact Noel at (804) 425-6259.
